OmniPro

Sinead Gortland

Sinead joined the Corporate Consultants formations team in OmniPro in 2016 and built up her experience and knowledge before moving into the Company Secretarial team and is the current Head of OmniPro Company Secretarial.

As a key member of CPD Stores speaker team Sinead’s focus is Beneficial Ownership, Annual Compliance and Corporate Governance. Sinead is passionate about making company secretarial and company law accessible and approachable to agents and accountants.

As a member of the Corporate Consultants team Sinead is also responsible for carrying out; Section 343 applications, High Court Company Restorations, Annual Compliance, Company Law Compliance and AML. As well as this Sinead delivers bespoke training in the areas of corporate governance and compliance.

In her previous roles Sinead spent time in education and ESG and has a MSc from Maynooth.

Head of Consulting

Orla Carolan

Orla is a Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA) and Managing Director of Glas Consulting, a consulting company that provides sustainability services including training, compliance and sustainability reporting advisory services to large organisations and SMEs.

Prior to this Orla held roles in Future Planet as Head of Consulting and was a Director (Advisory) at Grant Thornton Ireland in addition to being Head of Financial Reporting for JPMorgan Hedge Fund Services.

During her time at Grant Thornton Orla also worked with EFRAG on the development of the ESRS reporting standards under the CSRD and with the Central Bank of Ireland in their Supervisory Risk Division on the review of the supervision framework for investment funds.

Orla is currently lecturing for Chartered Accountants Ireland (CAI) on a Diploma on Sustainability Reporting & Assurance and with TUD on their Graduate Diploma in Sustainability Reporting in addition to supporting ACCA and other providers with CPD training on sustainability & sustainability reporting. Orla holds a B.A. in Business and Economics (TCD), is an ACCA member and a Certified Investment Fund Director (CIFD) and member of the IFDA working group on sustainability. Orla is also a qualified Executive Coach & Trainer (QQI Accredited).

Friel Stafford

Tom Murray

Tom qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) in 1997 whilst working with Chase Manhattan Bank. Tom has over 20 years experience in accounting and business roles.

He is one of Ireland’s most experienced corporate recovery and turnaround practitioners and was one of the first Personal Insolvency Practitioners licensed in Ireland.

He also is an experienced Corporate Financier with particular interest and expertise in the area of equity and debt fund raising, and the buying and selling of businesses.

He is heavily involved with the ACCA accountancy body and is a past President of ACCA Ireland. He represented ACCA Ireland at the ACCA International Assembly in 2011. He was nominated in January 2021 by ACCA to represent it on the the CCABI insolvency Committee.

He is authorised to act as a Personal Insolvency Practitioner by the Insolvency Service of Ireland.

OmniPro Strategic Solutions

Lindsay Webber

As a head of Strategic Solutions at OmniPro, Lindsay’s focus is on helping practices achieve on-going best practice compliance, providing in-house training and technical assistance in audit and financial reporting.

Lindsay is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants and Chartered Accountants Ireland. She trained with KPMG in Johannesburg and specialised in external audit of financial services companies. She then spent six years lecturing audit and financial reporting to under-grad and post-grad students at Rhodes University in South Africa before moving to Ireland and returning to practice in a small, and then a medium sized firm where she was an audit manager. She is passionate about combining her academic and practice backgrounds to provide technical information in a useful and practical way.

Outside of her accounting qualifications Lindsay holds a PGDiploma in Higher Education from Rhodes University, an MBA from Trinity College Dublin and a Diploma in Forensic Accounting from Chartered Accountants Ireland.

The HR Suite

Laura Reidy

Laura Reidy leads a team of experienced HR Consultants at the HR Suite offering specialist, tailored and effective human resources solutions to over 500 clients throughout Ireland.

Laura and the team provide a range of services for clients from drafting of employment contracts and employee handbooks, conducting compliance audits and assisting with all employee relations issues including absence management, performance management and investigations. They also provide relevant, accessible, and interactive training solutions, covering all aspects of people management.

Laura and her team regularly attend Workplace Relations Commission and Labour Court hearings on behalf of their clients and are experienced in all aspects of employment law.

Laura has a Bachelor of Arts in Human Resource Management from the University of Limerick and a Higher Certificate in Hotel & Catering Management from Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology.

Before joining the HR Suite in 2016 Laura worked in various operational management roles in the hotel industry, before specialising in HR Management
