However significant research shows that women’s opinions, ideas and influence are not as highly valued as men’s.  Everyone thrives when they discover the essential skills communication: to ensure they make a positive impact; influence and communicate with confidence. Using the latest neuroscience research and the most effective communication skills, this session will ensure women at all levels are respected for their contribution in business conversations, pitches and opinions. We cover key skill areas that will increase credibility, influence and engagement in a practical engaging way.

 

In this course Susan Heaton-Wright covers the follow topic:

  • The key difference on how communication is used by men and women – as discovered by Neuroscientists in 2024 and how this knowledge could be used before starting a conversation.
  • Considering the purpose of any spoken communication, including who you are speaking to, to ensure maximum engagement.
  • The language we use and how this could negatively impact our credibility.
  • How our non-verbal communication could increase the effectiveness of our spoken communication
  • Discovering how our voices influence the success of our opinions and ideas being heard by others.

She lives in Hertfordshire where she enjoys swimming, performing in an Improv Troupe, playing viola in an orchestra and designing and sewing her handmade wardrobe.
