Aoife McPartland

Aoife McPartland BL is Senior Enforcement Manager for the Civil Enforcement and Advocacy unit of the Corporate Enforcement Authority. Aoife is a PhD candidate in UCD’s Sutherland School of Law studying the restriction of company directors’ regime in Ireland. Aoife has had articles on topics covering criminal law, professional regulation, and company law published in journals such as the Hibernian Law Journal and Commercial Law Journal. Aoife’s article on the amendments to the restriction regime under the Companies (Corporate Enforcement Authority) Act 2021 was recently published in volume 69 of the Irish Jurist. Aoife has presented papers on her PhD topic at academic conferences including the Socio-

Legal Studies Association and the Society of Legal Scholars. Aoife has been a public interest member on the Health and Social Care Professional Council’s Appeals Committee since September 2022.
