    • Debt write-offs and taxability – A review of Section 87 TCA. When is a debt write off taxable. The write off of a loan connected to property – a win for the taxpayer.
    • The sale of goodwill to connected persons and the importance of following valuation rules
    • Payments from the Company deemed to be salary/dividend in the absence of evidence – A win for the taxpayer and one that could be used as a basis to defend Revenue’s stance, but availability of evidence is key

She also has experience in financial reporting and audit.

A Chartered Certified Accountant and Chartered Tax Advisor, Lisa trained and worked in practice for six years prior to joining OmniPro, where she gained experience in financial reporting, tax compliance across all tax heads and audit. She has experience with a range of small and medium sized businesses assisting them with their financial reporting obligations and tax compliance across all areas.

He is also an insolvency practitioner who acts as liquidator in members voluntary liquidations and is a Registered Auditor.
