Madden & Company
Dermot Madden
Dermot Madden has over forty years’ experience working at senior levels in the Irish Revenue Commissioners and the Office of the Director of Corporate Enforcement (“ODCE”). Now the Corporate Enforcement Agency (“CEA”).
He is a former Commissioned Inspector of Taxes who lead the DIRT enquiry audits on behalf of the Revenue Commissioners.
The DIRT enquiry followed the revelation that all major Irish banks had operated tax free fraudulent bank accounts for many years up until the late 1990’s.
He was the senior Forensic Accountant in the ODCE for over fourteen years. He has substantial and unique courtroom experience in giving expert witness testimony.
He has authored grounding affidavits in major white collar criminal cases.
He has lectured and examined Forensic Accounting in Trinity College Dublin.
He will bring his unique experiences, insights and advices to accounting and auditing professionals, to enhance their understanding of what good forensic thinking and reporting is.

Elaine Jackson, Director of Audit and Compliance at Michael Power Accountants, specialising in Audit, Debt Review/Restructuring and Compliance. Michael Power Accountants provide Audit, Accountancy, Tax and Financial Advisory Services to businesses across Munster, operating from their offices in Tipperary Town and Clonmel.
Elaine has previously worked with OmniPro as Head of the Accountants Resource Centre and was also a member of OmniPro’s Practice Support team.
Over the last number of years, Elaine has been providing Firm’s with assistance and training in the following areas; Anti-Money Laundering, Audit Testing and Walk Through Procedures, Audit Planning and Efficiency, OmniPro Audit Working Paper Demos, Preparing for Monitoring Visits and Post Monitoring Visit follow-ups.

Sinead Gortland
Sinead joined the Corporate Consultants formations team in OmniPro in 2016 and built up her experience and knowledge before moving into the Company Secretarial team and is the current Head of OmniPro Company Secretarial.
As a key member of CPD Stores speaker team Sinead’s focus is Beneficial Ownership, Annual Compliance and Corporate Governance. Sinead is passionate about making company secretarial and company law accessible and approachable to agents and accountants.
As a member of the Corporate Consultants team Sinead is also responsible for carrying out; Section 343 applications, High Court Company Restorations, Annual Compliance, Company Law Compliance and AML. As well as this Sinead delivers bespoke training in the areas of corporate governance and compliance.
In her previous roles Sinead spent time in education and ESG and has a MSc from Maynooth.

Lindsay Webber
As a head of Strategic Solutions at OmniPro, Lindsay’s focus is on helping practices achieve on-going best practice compliance, providing in-house training and technical assistance in audit and financial reporting.
Lindsay is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants and Chartered Accountants Ireland. She trained with KPMG in Johannesburg and specialised in external audit of financial services companies. She then spent six years lecturing audit and financial reporting to under-grad and post-grad students at Rhodes University in South Africa before moving to Ireland and returning to practice in a small, and then a medium sized firm where she was an audit manager. She is passionate about combining her academic and practice backgrounds to provide technical information in a useful and practical way.
Outside of her accounting qualifications Lindsay holds a PGDiploma in Higher Education from Rhodes University, an MBA from Trinity College Dublin and a Diploma in Forensic Accounting from Chartered Accountants Ireland.
