Lungi trained with PwC in Johannesburg and specialised in external audit of mining companies. She completed part of her training as an academic at Wits University where she completed her Master of Commerce degree. Lungi has worked in external audit in Canada as an audit senior and Ireland as an audit manager.

Outside of her accounting qualifications Lungi is a hobby baker who volunteers by baking for the homeless in Dublin City

Cormac Lucey teaches finance, at post-graduate level, at the IMI, UCD, TCD and Chartered Accountants Ireland.

He is also a commentator on economic affairs both on broadcast media and through his weekly columns with The Sunday Times (Irish edition).

He served as a special adviser to Michael McDowell when he was Tánaiste (Irish deputy prime minister) between 2002 and 2007. Cormac previously worked both in industry and in corporate finance in both Ireland in Germany.

Sinead joined the Corporate Consultants formations team in OmniPro in 2016 and built up her experience and knowledge before moving into the Company Secretarial team and is the current Head of OmniPro Company Secretarial.

As a key member of CPD Stores speaker team Sinead’s focus is Beneficial Ownership, Annual Compliance and Corporate Governance. Sinead is passionate about making company secretarial and company law accessible and approachable to agents and accountants.

As a member of the Corporate Consultants team Sinead is also responsible for carrying out; Section 343 applications, High Court Company Restorations, Annual Compliance, Company Law Compliance and AML. As well as this Sinead delivers bespoke training in the areas of corporate governance and compliance.

In her previous roles Sinead spent time in education and ESG and has a MSc from Maynooth.

Alan Sellers has been an accredited Executive Coach for 26 years, helping practices in the financial and legal sectors succeed. He is an established blockchain and digital asset influencer. Alan is the official blockchain and crypto specialist for the London Chamber of Commerce, and the only cryptocurrency and blockchain expert on the Institute of Directors Fintech and Finance Group. His TikTok account provides educational content about cryptocurrency and has over 3.7m views. As Founder of Your Crypto Coach Limited Alan’s vision is to educate as many people as possible about the exciting world of blockchain and crypto in a ‘sound, practical and safe’ way. “Blockchain is how the internet was 30 years ago. I’m not sure people realise what an enormous impact this amazing technology will have on all aspects of their lives. I’ve made it my mission to educate them in a safe and secure way”

Ken joined the firm in 2008 and is a Director in the Transaction Advisory Services Department, focusing exclusively on the insolvency sector. Ken is the lead Director on the firm’s Personal Insolvency service offering, Grant Thornton Debt Solutions, one of the largest Personal Insolvency practitioners in Ireland. Ken has overseen 1000+ successful personal insolvency arrangements. Ken has over 16 years insolvency experience, having worked on various liquidations (Creditors Voluntary, Court-appointed and Member’s Voluntary), receiverships and examinerships and has also been involved in the administration of large portfolios of assets under Grant of Probate. Ken’s sector experience includes retail, hospitality, property, construction, motors, and food and beverage amongst others. He has been involved in the successful sale of trading businesses and large portfolios of properties in receivership situations. Ken also spent a year working as a secondee in Ulster Bank’s Global Restructuring Group, working on debt restructuring workouts for trading businesses.

Edel Walsh is the owner of Edel Walsh Coaching and Consulting.

She specialises in mental health and well-being coaching and workplace well-being coaching.
Edel is also a student mentor and coach supporting professional accountancy students through their exams. Edel supports her student clients get their exams as quickly as possible while maintaining balance and prioritizing their well-being.

Her corporate career started in KPMG where qualified as a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser. From there, Edel moved into professional education where she held senior lecturer and examinership roles within the professional accountancy bodies.
